I wrote this for YOU.

I want you to know that I’ve written this for you. Only for you. So that you can read it. Everyone else who reads it doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. These words are meant for you. Truly, only for you. For you are special. You are beautiful.

I want you to know that there will be no fears or tears after you read this. That you will emerge as a stronger person. That you will gain mental strength from these words. That these words will become meaningful only after you read them.

I want you to realize that there are happy memories as well as unhappy ones. That you need to forget the unhappy memories. That it is not easy but you can try. That you need to remember only the happy moments of your life. That reminiscing them will bring a smile on your face. That your smile is the most beautiful thing.

I want you to believe that the bad days will end soon. That the gloominess of your life will be over one day. That the darkness will fade away. That after darkness will appear a ray of light. That that light reflects hope and happiness. That that light is within you.

I want you to realize that people come and people go. But some people stand by your side, no matter what. That they are there for you even in the darkest phase of your life. That they are the ones who truly care for you. That you need to realize their worth. That you need to stop chasing wrong people. That nobody stays with us forever. Because nobody is immortal. But the only immortal thing in this world is YOU. Your Soul. That your soul is pure and beautiful. That it reflects the obscure –‘you’.

I want you to know that life is not easy. That it has innumerable obstacles and hurdles. That you need to go on despite all the barriers. That you can’t give up. That you have to fight for yourself. That you are strong enough to do that. That with your perseverance and confidence, you will win it one day. Trust me.

I want you to believe that everything around you is beautiful. That beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. That the sun sets each day. That that sunset is beautiful. That the sun will rise the next day. That that sunrise is beautiful. That rains are beautiful. The rivers are beautiful.

And so are you. Keep smiling always!

The Semi-colon effect

Choose to be a warr;or

Choose to be a warr;or

Choose to keep going, with your heavy heart over-flowing

Choose to never stop till your last tear-drops

Choose to be perseverant while life is being reminiscent

Choose to be a WARR;OR for the labyrinthine path has innumerable barriers

Choose to love endlessly because souls around us are in melancholy.

Never choose to end the sentence; because you are the author and the sentence is your life.

It has always been so confusing when I’ve been asked to write about myself. If someday someone asks me for how long have I known myself, I wonder what my answer would be? Maybe NEVER or maybe FOREVER! Well, you’ll get to know me through my pieces of writing on this blog but for the sake of social obligation, here’s a brief:

I am Bhavya Rastogi, 20. I am a simple girl leading a simple life away from parties, drugs, expensive belongings but near to books, movies, music, television, nature, and maths. Oh! Did I just mention MATH? Oh yes. Having pursued my graduation in B.Sc. (hons.) Mathematics, I am a Math- freak. I love algebra, trigonometry, geometry, arithmetic, calculus and what not. Strange combination -mathematics plus blogging- yeah.

Before I forget to mention, I am a feminist with a firm belief in gender equality. My feminism not only includes women but transgenders, LGBTs and ‘men’ who’ve fallen prey to the patriarchal society. I like to have discussions about gender equality, politics, religion, history, business, philosophies of life, humor, wordplay. My blog is a mixed bag of my emotions, political and economical issues and feminism.

To me writing comes as naturally as breathing. It is a rambling of my mind. As Hemmingway aptly puts it:

‘There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.’

I started this blog to keep myself away from the stress and agony of life. It is a way for me to pen down my emotions and opinions and share it with people around the globe. So, I hope to have an enriching experience while learning here.

Thankyou for stopping by and reading. Stay happy.

The Modi Hypocrisy

MODI ZINDABAAD! MODI ZINDABAAD!

Mr. Narendra Modi, the current Prime Minister of India or better introduced as NaMo, the iconic ideal of the nation has a large number of fans in and around the world. But here, I am not one of those fans of Mr. Modi. I respect him as the prime minister of India but unlike people around me, I don’t enchant his name all the time.

If I were given a chance to interview Mr. Modi, then the following would’ve been my questions to him which would disclose his hypocrisy to the nation and to the entire world.

Q. Mr. Modi, don’t you think it was your moral obligation to apologize  for the 2002 Gujarat riots?

Explanation:
He didn’t apologize for the riots that took place in 2002 in Gujarat when he was the Chief Minister of the State. Although, he was given clean chit by the supreme court but he should have apologised for not being able to control the situation during his term. I’ll explain this using a simple analogy.
Example:- In a school, if students fight and beat each other in the presence of their class teacher, then the principal scolds the class teacher for not being able to control the situation.
So, in the same way, why didn’t your ideal Mr. Modi apologize for the same. Though the Supreme Court has given him a clean chit with respect to the 2002 Gujarat riots but certain evidences still stand against him. Moreover, if the judge of the supreme court is my friend, who the hell can stop me from taking a clean chit from the judiciary.

Q. Mr. Modi, why do you choose to remain silent when important communal and social issues are being discussed in the nation?

Explanation:
Why doesn’t Modi speak on issues of Sakshi maharaj 4 children scheme or haraamzade speech or conversion issues? He is just like ex- PM Manmohan Singh who didn’t speak. Media said Sonia doesn’t allow him to speak but who isn’t allowing Modi to speak?
Modi is such a hypocrite. On one hand, he starts swachh Bharat abhiyan in the name of Gandhiji. But on the other hand, he doesn’t speak against the RSS plan of building Godsey temple. And a bigger hypocrite is Kiran Bedi who has joined a party which she earlier criticised. I agree that she is an opportunist but why did she join the ‘chor’ , perhaps to become a chor ?

Q. Mr. Modi, if yours is such a clean party, then why don’t you disclose your party’s fundings?

Explanation:
BJP issues a new advertisement every week on radio, television and other social media which requires a large amount of money. Where does that money come from? We know the answer. Big businessmen, corporate houses and the elite business class. To whom BJP returns a favour by saving them from the judiciary whenever they’re caught in a scam. ( because the judicial system is Modi’s friend).
Q. Why do you want your people in every sphere, whether it be censor board or Legislation?

Explanation:
Leela Sampson resigned from the censor board due to political pressure on release of BJP Supporter Dera sachcha sauda’s film. Moreover, recently BJP has appointed their party member Mr. Gajendra Chauhan as the new chairman of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) which has kicked up a controversy.Recent appointments by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has come under a lot of criticism. Many are of the belief that the BJP government is rewarding those who campaigned for BJP. Recently, the government appointed Mukesh Khanna, who played Bhishma in Mahabharata and later, Shaktimaan, as the head of Children’s Film Society. Khanna too had campaigned for the BJP, and was caught on camera calling Modi, “the Shaktimaan in Gujarat.”
The I&B ministry also appointed Malayalam actor and BJP supporter Suresh Gopi as the chairman of NFDC, in another controversial decision.

I think these questions are enough to make Mr. Modi’s hypocrisy visible to all. So, please fellow Indians, let’s stop enchanting the name of a hypocrite blindly. Let’s together use our discretion to decide the faith of our beloved nation.
